PAYMENT POLICY

Payment Policy:

 

In order for players or teams to participate in a scheduled league, payment of the deposit indicated on the league registration form is required in order to secure placement in a league. The remainder of the league fee must be received by Cape Fear Sports no later than the scheduled league start date. Failure to pay in full by the first day of the league may result in cancellation of team registration and forfeiture of monies paid.

 

Captains are responsible for collecting payment from their teammates and to the extent that individual payments are not made, Captains are ultimately responsible for payment of the full team fee in its entirety to Cape Fear Sports. A credit card number must be provided with the League Registration Form. Registration forms that are provided without a credit card number are considered incomplete. Credit cards may be charged at the discretion of Cape Fear Sports on the third week of play, or anytime thereafter, for the team registration fee or any portion thereof not paid by the scheduled league start date.

 

Refund Policy:

 

Refunds will not be granted, in whole or part, to teams or individual participants based on weather, schedule changes, changes of residence, or any other circumstances beyond the control of Cape Fear Sports that result in a team and/or an individual to continue participation due to medical issues will be considered on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Cape Fear Sports.

 

Weather and Facility Disclaimer: Cape Fear Sports reserves the right to change, postpone, or cancel games based on facility scheduling conflicts, weather and/ or field conditions. Refund request based on schedule changes made by Cape Fear Sports due to any of the foregoing will not be granted.

 

Cancellation Policy:

 

Individual Registrations

 

                *Cancellation greater than 7 calendar days prior to the scheduled league start date will result in a refund of the amount paid less $15 service charge.

 

                *Cancellation less than 7 calendar days prior to the scheduled league start date, if it is sold out and a suitable replacement is made, will result in a refund of the amount paid less a $15 service charge.

 

                *Cancellation less than 7 calendar days prior to the scheduled league start date, when the league is not sold out and/or no replacement is made will not result in a refund.

 

Team Registrations

 

                *Cancellation less than 7 calendar days of scheduled league start date, if the activity is sold-out and a suitable replacement is made, will result in a refund of the amount paid less $25 service charge.

 

                *Cancellation less than 7 calendar days prior to the scheduled league start date, if the activity is not sold-out and/or no replacement is made, will not result in a refund.
